ASSIGNMENT 01
DESIGN
Rinse & Repeat:
The Traditional Design History
Make a visual and verbal presentation of the design movement assigned to you, including the works and theories of influential designers and their impact on culture. Recognize and differentiate between design movements and their historical, social, and cultural significance.
The presentation will only contain images, headings like design movement title, designer names, artwork names, and terms that maybe new to the class or difficult to pronounce/understand. You can have speakers notes but the you should not read from them as is.
You can use any program to create the presentation. It should be 15-20 minutes long and there are no restrictions on format. Each student should present. Work as a team, you are in this together. The goal is to present your story to the class in a comprehensive, simple, and detail oriented manner with visual examples. Your audience is a class full of designers - how do you engage designers? What would interest them?
