ASSIGNMENT 09
CULTURE
DOES CONTENT
MATTER?
PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to critically explore the relationship between form and content in creative and communicative works. Students will reflect on how these two elements—form (the shape, medium, layout, structure that communicate ideas and themes) and content (information)—interact and influence each other in the creation and reception of a piece. This exercise will help you develop a deeper understanding of the ways in which form and content function in design, art, media, and communication.
